The task was simple, use the dagger to hold a lesser spirit and learn the information that spirit knew. Things went well until she learned what the spirit had to say. It was short and simple, "Stay away from Ruby in the future." What kind of message was that? Anyone who was smart and following the tournament knew to avoid Ruby the dragon. She had been a handful of expert level students and wasn't against fighting. But, a message was a message and Valkyrie reported back.
