Naruto: Meet the Families Chapter 2
When Shino opened the door, he expected to run into his father. But after he stepped inside, the house was silent. Shino removed his shoes, set down his bag, and hung his jacket on the hook. There was only one other pair of shoes at the door, so someone was home. It was most likely his mother for she rarely left the house.
He walked out to the courtyard (the backyard really) and glanced around. Fruit trees, vegetable plants, and flowers could all be found in the garden. (Basically a forest, it all depended on how you look at it.) The garden was his mother's; she grew almost all of the food the family ate.
He noticed someone sitting by the rose bushes. It was his mother, Tsubasa. She had her jet black hair tied up so that it barely reached the ground when she sat. If she didn't tie it up, her hair reached the floor when she stood. She was tall women, but thin and delicate.
"Good afternoon, Mother," Shino said.
The women stood up and walked toward Shino.
She smiled and gave him a hug, "W
CagedI have spent my life,
Living behind these bars.
Locked forever, I can't spread my wings,
Bound to sing to my owner for eternity.
I sit here,
Locked in this cage.
Wondering why I was given wings,
If I can never use them.
I watch the outside world,
With envy of those who can fly.
I try to find a way out,
But the key seems to be lost forever.
Then she came,
Her beauty like that of a dove.
She stayed by me,
And told me of the world beyond these bars.
When the truth was revealed,
The lock was no longer there.
The bars no longer held me back,
I was freed from the cage.
Now I could spread my wings,
And soar into the world that I have never known.
But I think I will stay close,
Not travel too far.
I know where I belong,
It's not locked in a cage.
I belong here, free to be,
By Heaven's Star
RainMany feel the rain is,
The sadness of Heaven.
But I feel the rain,
Is the connection of life.
The rain is what connects,
The earth and sky.
Stitching our beating hearts together,
So they may beat as one.
If I was the rain
I would cast my threads,
Disguised as raindrops
Across the world.
By connecting those who belong,
Give them a chance to begin anew.
Soul mates could find each other,
Happiness would become worldwide.
If only I could be the rain.
mechanici want to kiss every aching wound you have,
bandage your heart every time it bleeds,
and patch up your mind over and over
because not a single tear deserves to fall
from your brandy-drenched eyes
but this dripping heart of mine can only feel
and the healing honey words it flames get caught
in the back of my throat and on the roof of my mouth
so i only have these passionate guttural cries
to tell you that i care all too much
and in order to fix you up again,
i would need to tear myself to tatters
and trade all of my working parts
for your leftover, fading pieces
but i just haven’t figured out how.
